To enter Madagascar, you must meet the following requirements:

A passport, valid for six months from your date of entry and with three blank pages

A visa, obtained before travelling or purchased at port of entry with U.S. dollars (27USD depending on exchange rate), Euros (25Euros depending on the exchange rate) or Malagasy Ariary (80,000AR) if staying less than three months. Credit cards are not accepted and it is advisable to obtain your visa in your home country prior to arrival.

Proof of sufficient funds

World Health Organization (WHO) card with yellow fever vaccination if entering from an infected zone within six months of your arrival.
