Day 1(May 01, Wed), 2024: Arrival in Antananarivo, Airport pick up
Welcome to join our Madagascar private tours. After you arrive at Ivato International Airport, our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2(May 02, Thu), 2024: Antananarivo – Antsirabe.

You’ll have a morning rest at your hotel.

By, 01 O’clock departure to Antsirabe which is a spa town located at 170Km from Antananarivo. The drive is full of scenery life of the Malagasy people living in the highland.

Day 3(May 03, Fri), 2024: Antsirabe – Miandrivazo (225Km – Approx 06Hrs drive).

Today, second step of your drive by approaching slowly to Morondava.

Overnight at Miandrivazo.

Day 4(May 04, Sat), 2024: Miandrivazo – Morondava (260kms – Approx 06hrs drive).

Last step of your drive to reach Morondava.

Arrival in Morondava, check-in at your hotel.

Day 5(May 05, Sun): Car ride to Kirindy
Today the driver guide will send you to the airport to take the flight to the western city Morondava. Upon arrival, the local driver guide will pick you up at the airport and then drive to Kirindy. We will pass through the famous Baobab alley on the way. After arrival, check in the hotel.

Day 6(May 06, Mon): Walk into Kirindy Forest, Transfer to Bekopaka
On the third day, the driver guide will lead you to Kirindy Forest. This protected area is located 60 kilometers northeast of Molondava. It is an arid forest. There are many amazing animals living here, including the famous fossa (the only large carnivore in Madagascar), hamsters (Giant jumping rat), a variety of lemurs and birds. After the visit, drive to Bekopaka. En route, we need to take a boat to cross the Tsiribihina River to Belo sur Tsiribihina, thencontinue driving to Bekopaka and check in the local hotel.

Day 7(May 07, Tue): Escorted tour to Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park
Today we’ll explore the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park. The reserve is located on the western coast of central Madagascar. Housing mangrove forest, wild birds and lemurs, it is listed in the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Accompanied by the local guide, we’ll explore Tsingy at an altitude of 30-50 meters. There are spectacular karst landform, limestone hills and strange stone forest. It is physically consuming to explore the park. Have picnic lunch inside the park. We’ll finish the visit and return to the hotel around 15:00 to 16:00.

Day 8(May 08, Wed): Transfer from Bekopaka to Morondava
Today we’ll go back to Morondava and stay overnight. On the way, we also need to take the boat to pass the Tsiribihina River in Belo sur Tsiribihina. We’ll also stopover at Baobab Avenue to appreciate the sunset and take photos.

Day 9(May 09, Thu): Departure from Morondava to Antsirabe
Today we’ll leave Morondava and drive to Antsirabe, taking about 9 hours. Upon arrival, check in Plumeria Hotel and have rest at the hotel.

Day 10(May 10, Fri): Drive along RN7 to Ranomafana, Stopover at Ambositra
On the seventh day, we’ll drive along the RN7 road to Ranomafana National Park. On the way we’ll stop and have a short visit at the town of Ambositra which is famous for the handicrafts and exquisite carvings. After checking in the hotel upon arrival, the driver guide will accompany you to have an evening walk to see nocturnal lemurs, frogs and the different genus of chameleons.

Day 11(May 11, Sat): Explore Ranomafana National Park
In the morning, drive from the hotel to the entrance of the Ranomafana National Park, where our local guide will be waiting for you and accompany you to visit the park. The park located in the mountain area with most abundant rain is the best place to explore the eastern rainforest. It is home to 12 kinds of lemurs like Eulemur and abundant special birds, crawlers and amphibians. We’ll hike for about 4 hours. After the visit, go back to the hotel and take a break. The rest of the day is for your own to explore the surroundings.

Day 12(May 12, Sun): Transfer to Ranohira with visit to Anja Community Reserve
Today, we will leave Ranomafana National Park for Ranohira. We will pass Fianarantsoa and Ambalavao on the way and make a stop at Anja Community Reserve. Here you can see ring-tailed lemurs, chameleon and birds. After that, continue to drive forward and enter the Big South Region. Arrive in Ranohira village in the evening and check into the hotel.

Day 13(May 13, Mon): Isalo National Park excursion
We will have a full day excursion in Isalo National Park. This national park covers an area of 815 square kilometers. There are many natural ponds, unique rock formations, canyons and wildlife in the park. We will first drive to Ranohira village, meet with the local guide, and then drive to the foot of the mountain to visit the national park. When visit the camping site of Namazà, have a rest and packed lunch here. After the visit, the driver guide will accompany you back to the hotel.

Day 14(May 14, Tue): Transfer from Isalo to Ifaty
Today, we will drive to Ifaty on the southwest coast, taking about 5.5 hours. On the way, we’ll pass by Ilakaka famous for its richness in precious stones and drive through deciduous forest in Zombitse. After arrival, check in the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 15(May 15, Wed): Morning walk at Reniala reserve
Our driver guide will escort you to visit Reniala reserve today. It will take about 20 minutes to drive there. The reserve is an ideal place for watching local plants and you can also see baobab, birds, crawlers and many other wild animals. After finish the visit, we will drive back to the hotel. The rest time is free for you.

Day 16(May 16, Thu): Fly from Toliara to Antananarivo

We’ll transfer you to Toliara airport for you to take flight back to Antananarivo. After arrival, the local driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You can explore the city around by yourself.

Day 17(May 17, Fri): Transfer from Antananarivo to Antsiranana by flight

Today you will take flight to Antsiranana. Our driver guide will send you to the airport according to the flight time. After arrival, the local driver guide will pick you up and take you to visit the famous local gulf. Send you to the hotel after the sightseeing.

Day 18(May 18, Sat): Guided tour to Amber Mountain National Park
We’ll drive to Joffre Ville this morning. After hotel check-in, meet with the local guide who will take you to explore Amber Mountain National Park. This national park has plenty of rainfall all the year round. It not only has the best-preserved tropical rain forest in northern Madagascar and the most abundant ecosystem, but also river waterfalls and crater lakes. It is also home to 75 bird species, 7 lemur species including the smallest lemurs, 24 kinds of crawlers including the smallest mini chameleon and over 1,000 kinds of rainforest plants. After visit, drive back to the hotel.

Day 19(May 19, Sun): Drive to Ankarana by car
We’ll drive from the hotel to visit Red Tsingy, taking about 2.5 hours. The amazing landscape is formed because of erosion of limestone. Then, continue to drive to Ankarana which will take about 5 hours. Upon arrival, check in the hotel.

Day 20(May 20, Mon): Ankarana National Park trekking
Accompanied by the local guide, we’ll visit Ankarana National Park which covers an area of 18,000 hectares. The landforms here have rock caves, underground rivers, canyons and large grey limestone rock forest caused by long time erosion. We’ll spend all day exploring the limestone forest and the rare wild animals. After a whole day’s trekking, we will drive you back to the hotel.

Day 21(May 21, Tue): Boat to Nosy Be Island

We will drive from the hotel to Ankify Harbor, taking 2.5 hours. Then take a speed boat to Nosy Be Island. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 22(May 22, Wed): Leisure day at Nosy Be
Today is a leisure day. We won’t arrange any activities. You can enjoy yourself at seaside. If interested, you may ask the hotel staff to book some entertainment for you like snorkeling and exploring the surrounding islands like Nosy Iranja by boat. The expense is on your own.

Fly from Nosy Be back to the capital, Antananarivo. Our driver guide will pick you up at Ivato International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. If you are still energetic, you can go to visit the local markets and buy some souvenirs.
